Saud Beach at sunrise and sunset; at the Ilocos-Cagayan boundary; the Patapat viaduct; Bantay Abot cave, and the famed Blue Lagoon (also in Pagudpud).

All in the Philippines, and (again!) something for Filipinos to be proud of.

My family and i (together with a barkada's family) left for Pagudpud at 8PM last Friday, 14th March. We arrived at Fort Ilocandia at around 2:30PM for an overnight stay (N.B. We took photos and had lunch in Vigan). This morning (16th March), i had my first chance to test my Marumi high-grade CPL and Hoya ND8 filters. Check them out. First 5 shots are with the CPL, last 4 shots are with the ND8.

Pagudpud, here i come.

Set-up: Tokina 12-24 f/4.0 on a Nikon D300. Totally unedited. Taken at beachfront, Fort Ilocandia Resort, Laoag City, Ilocos Norte.
