After a day that started with me leaving the house at 5am to attend a hearing in Gapan City (which was re-set by 9am because the opposing counsel did not have a witness, duhh) and slaving away at Starbucks Madrigal for a frenzied round of checking, i arrived home at 3:30pm to see my daughter sleeping soundly on our bed.

The way that she slept and how the shadows fell on her body, i knew i had to record this for posterity. Btw, covering her is cara's "blankie" -- something she refuses to give up since she was a year old. Kita nyo naman, tuhod na lang ang kayang takpan. :P

Even if they are 9 hours apart, the vision of a child sleeping in peaceful contentment is as much a breathtaking sight as the burst of colors at dawn.

I pulled down the shades after this. Sleep well, cara. Papa loves you.:)
