|  | The Jesuit All-Stars had a Christmas concert right after the mass in honor of the Immaculate Conception on Dec. 8, 2007. My favorite group rendered three (3) songs: Pasko Na, Paglamig ng Hangin and A Christmas Praise.
Other artists included C-5 and Noel Cabangon. I think kumanta din ang Hangad, but i wasn't able to hang around to watch (o ayan Jowi, alam mo where my loyalty lies hahahaha!).
Hope you enjoy the photos. Used were an 18-200VR on a D40 and a Tamron 90mm f/2.8 on a D80. Yeah, kulay pasko sila (i mean, you don't expect Norman to wear red pants on a regular basis, right? ... What's that, every other day? You kidding?!) :P |
| | I fell in love with this group way back in 1991. My best friend was singing some songs inside the jeep while on our way to Mt. Banahaw. He lent me a cassette tape (oo, wala pang CD noon) of the album, "Balang Araw". Since then, i got hooked. I later learned that an officemate of my then-girlfriend (now, my wife) was a member of the group. For a while there, i didn't miss any of their concerts as part of the 'Pia Reyes Forever!' Fan Club. Ateneo grade school and high school, Philamlife auditorium, Christ the King, Mary the Queen, even one in Imus Cathedral. I gobbled up all of their albums along the way. Naturally, my choirs just had to learn their songs.
Through Multiply, i got to be online buddies with Ali, then Palan and finally Norman. As one gets older, one gets more ... makapal. So i asked for (and got) permission to shoot their Christmas concert. Here are some of their pics. Please feel free to help me put captions on them.

Thanks for the dedication, sir Norman. I can just see my choirmates drooling over it. ;) Btw, wifey wants us to watch the concert at EDSA Shang Plaza on December 8. Parang gusto niyang panoorin .... ang Hangad, hahahahaha joke! |
