It wasn't like i was a back-up photog in a wedding.
My master, Frank Dizon of Imagineer Digital, was tapped as videographer in a wedding held at the Miraculous Medal church in Paranaque. He asked for and got permission from the parties for me to take additional shots aside from those of the official photographer (who happened to be a relative of the bride).
It is difficult NOT being the official photog. The angles weren't quite right, and wala akong diskarte sa poses, saan tatayo, anong lights ang gagamitin etc. The most i could do is to be happy with the practice i was getting and hope that someday .... someday! .... i'd be able to come up with my own wedding shots.
Thanks jowi! Actually gracielle (one of my photog contacts) has a similar shot but with better-formed hearts hahaha. Uyyy i hadn't seen her shot until this morning huh kaya di ko sha ginaya! :P
Were you able to read the Bible passage on the right? Zoom in for a better look. ;)
thanks sir for the special mention hehe! I find this shot beautiful, maayos naman ung hearts po e. And what makes it special is you were able to include the text sir! Lovely.. :)

Ano ka, heto ang plugging mo... ehem... sa mga Multiply'ers ko, check nyo yung site http://graciellehernandez.multiply.com , meron mas maganda na "shadow-hearts" hehehe. :P
ang galing naman friend... i really don't know much about photography... pero sure ako konting time na lang, with all that passion and dedication, master of photography ka na rin! god bless!
atty, nice of you to include the text. :) i really looked at that passage whenever we shoot the bible :) tagal na di namin nagawa so i did it again last time out. :)
i second ur opinion...was in the same situation before and it was really difficult being without control of the lighting, etc. had the permission of the couple but the official fotog wasn't so pleased when he saw me esp my dslr...masama ang tingin sa D80 ko =D ur pics are nice. i like the hearts with the Bible verse sa side but don't you think it's too yellow? peace..
hi atty. though i am still a newbie in photography.. its a little dark for a ring picture.. since it is a wedding, most appropriate would be a nice glow to it.. then again, i must say its a nice shot too!
Thanks pare! I'll keep your comment in mind. Just that sometimes, my rebel streak in me erupts. One of these days, i'm gonna place a 'distort' layer on the rings hahahaha.:)
Seriously, your comment is spot-on; ring shots should be brilliant and shimmering (like pic 4179 and double 8). Nonetheless, do consider that the great artists were ones who blazed new trails; the ones who merely copied remained anonymous. ;) Hope to see you make a new trail someday. Cheers! :)
