STARDATE LOG (??): 13th November 2007
So having had my first taste of doing a studio shoot (and miserably failing, i should add), i tested the camera settings (shutter at 1/125, aperture at f/11) on my family. For some inscrutable (but titillating) reason, they were game to the idea -- on condition that they would all be in pj's.
As compared to the first studio shoot (see Beda Sophomores Model Shoot album), the lighting on these photos were much better. Considering that the camera settings were more or less the same, the one distinction is that the former was shot during the afternoon, while these shots were at 8pm. The effects of ambient light, perhaps?? Please share your thoughts with me on this "phenomenon".
Btw, pics 705-708 were at "soft" optimize image settings. The rest were at custom settings of enhanced saturation and sharpness. Camera was a D40 with an 18-200mmVR lens.

 | This is a very classic example of a very happy and gregarious family...which you were able to capture and justify perfectly! | Oh and btw....the Fortun kids and your wifey look oh so cutie in their pj's... I wonder if that would be the same if you are included in this mini-slumber party! bwahahaha!!!! |
